Joshua J. Carolan Esq.
I have been a Ventura County resident my entire life and as such, I have a special connection to this area and its people. I graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2001. Continuing my education at Azusa Pacific University Extension Campus in Oxnard, I received a Masters degree in Education and a California Teaching Credential.
After a successful and rewarding teaching career, I chose to follow my life long dream and transition to the legal profession. I brought with me the appreciation of planning, dispute resolution, and empathy that a lengthy high school teaching career helped develop.
I obtained my Juris Doctorate at Ventura College of Law earning high honors. As a devoted husband and father of three, I continued teaching full-time as a high school teacher during my law school years- an experience which cemented my commitment to hard working people. I have a personal understanding of the importance of planning and providing for family.
I began my legal career as an Associate Attorney for a small Ventura based Family law firm, where I was able to hone my trust writing skills. Choosing to branch out on my own, I pursued further advanced training in Wills and Trust as well as Bankruptcy.
My goal is to create a plan for each clients individual needs. I offer affordable services tailored to save my clients time and money
